Building Inclusive Workplaces for Persons with Disabilities in Ghana.

The Ghana Business & Disability Network is an employer-led forum that brings together public and private-sector organizations, organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs), development partners, and international NGOs to promote employment and inclusion of persons with disabilities in the private sector and beyond.

0ur Story

The Ghana Business and Disability Network (GBDN) supports businesses in Ghana to take practical steps toward disability inclusion. As part of the ILO’s Global Business and Disability Network, it works with employers and partners to promote inclusive employment, influence policy, and show that disability inclusion is both socially responsible and good for business. Through advocacy and collaboration, GBDN helps create workplaces where persons with disabilities can access decent work and grow professionally.

What We Do

Support Businesses to Become Disability Inclusive

We help employers move from intention to action by providing practical guidance on inclusive recruitment. Through training and advisory support, we enable companies to create environments where persons with disabilities can thrive professionally.

Advocate & Influence for Systemic Change

We champion disability inclusion as both a social responsibility and a business advantage. By engaging policymakers and industry leaders, we work to strengthen inclusive labour practices and shape an enabling environment for equitable employment.

Connect, Collaborate & Build Capacity

We bring businesses, partners, and stakeholders together to drive collective impact. Through knowledge-sharing, partnerships, and dialogue, we strengthen Ghana’s inclusive employment ecosystem.
